I will give you two situations. You are looking to conduct a meeting, to get a new manager for your business. The first person that walks in the door is in a clean black suit. He walks towards you with purpose and strength, as he firmly places his rich leather carry case on the desk in front of you. WOW! This is the man we need. The second person walks in. He has some old cargo shorts on and some short sleeved T shirt. He looks around a bit confused before noticing you and wonders over. Who are you looking to take on, the guy in the suit. Why? Because he presented himself as professional. Branding adopts the same reaction form people. If we see something that is presented to us in a untrusting or unprofessional manner, its hard to believe all of the attributes that you clam to provide for the client.
